Your Norweco Singulair Aeration system requires routine maintenance in order to function properly. This maintenance should be performed on a regular basis.  Every six months is normal for a single family dwelling.  Commercial or multi-family may require maintenance more often.  This agreement is made available to you to assure that proper maintenance is performed.  This is a service agreement and is not a warranty for equipment or for extending warranties on equipment.  Please call for pricing and prerequisites for the One year Term agreement. 

WHAT AGREEMENT INCLUDES:

A.     CHECK AERATOR MOTOR FOR ELECTRICAL CONSUMPTION AND VIBRATION

B.      REMOVE ASPIRATOR SHAFT AND CLEAN

C.      REMOVE FILTER AND CLEAN

D.      SQUEEGEE HOPPER

E.       CHECK SUMP PUMP & FLOAT

F.       INSPECTION OF CONTROL PANEL – WHEN ACCESSIBLE

G.      VISUAL INSPECTION OF PLANT AND EFFLUENT QUALITY

H.      CHLORINE TABLETS

I.       INSPECTION OF OUTLET LINE – WHERE ACCESSIBLE

J.       ALL LABOR & TRANSPORTATION BETWEEN KOHNEN CONCRETE PROD AND INSTALLATION

K.     THIS AGREEMENT INCLUDES THE ROUTINE MAINTENANCE SERVICE CALLS AND ANY SPECIAL
 SERVICE CALLS THAT MAY BE NECESSARY DURING THE TERM OF THIS AGREEMENT.

 

WHAT AGREEMENT DOES NOT INCLUDE:

A.      PUMPING OF TANK

B.      REPLACEMENT OF AERATORS OR PARTS OUT OF WARRANTY

C.     SHIPPING CHARGES FOR RETURNING AERATOR TO NORWECO FOR REPAIR OR EXCHANGE IF
 NECESSARY. 

 

Raised Filter Beds – are considered an at grade disposal system, utilizing the top 12” of the soil.  A raised sand filter is dosed from a tank following an aeration system, discharging to a sand layer in the top 12” of the field.  This is considered a sub-surface system.  Contact our office for design specifications. 

Drip Irrigation – is small diameter tubing located within 8” of the ground surface pressurized from a dosing system following an aeration unit.  This system is designed to keep the discharge underground.  Kohnen Concrete supplies Geoflow equipment for drip irrigation – Please see more information by the Geoflow website via the links page.

Concrete Lift Station

Laterals - Are sized based on soil evaluations, ie. Loading rate or percolation rate.  Contact your local County Health Department for acceptable materials such as the Infiltrator Chambers.  View the website via the links page.
